About Me
Helllooooo :) My name is Ishan and I am one of the two Special Events Planners for this upcoming year! This is my first year with the MSS and I’m super excited to plan some awesome and creative events for our fellow students here at McMaster! University is a place where you can explore and find diverse groups of people and activities to participate in, which means there's lots to consider on how to run an ideal event - Some of my goals for this year are to plan engaging and all encompassing events throughout the year so that everyone is able to enjoy! I spend the majority of my time speeding through campus on my bike going from place to place, or perhaps climbing a tree hahaha (there’s some really beautiful ones on campus) My team and I have lots of very cool ideas planned out and I’m most excited to see these fruition into something real! I want to bring students at McMaster together and help build friendships among us, and these events will turn that into a reality :)
Goals
1. Implement a large-scale unique event in the fall semester that hasn't been done recently
2. Hold regular meetings with subcommittee and general students designed specifically to discuss ways to improve ideas/events
3. Increase attendance at MacSci Appreciation Night by creating more promotion and advertisement
