What is the MSS?

The McMaster Science Society (MSS) works to enhance the undergraduate science student experience through providing resources, services, and events. With the goal to support the diverse needs of the MacSci community, we're run by students, for students.

What We Provide

Events

We run a number of small and large events throughout the year.

Notable events in 2017 and 2018 include Formaldehyde, the Science Musical, and I Love Science Day.

Services

We provide a range of services for students in the faculty of science.

This includes a science lounge, tutoring, mentoring, and even our own web series, MacSci Minutes.

Resources

We strive to make your experience here at McMaster the best it can be.

We do this through the resources we provide, including scholarships, grants, and a course advice forum.

Representation

We are now responsible for representing 15 unique sub-societies in the faculty of science.

We provide funding for and respect the needs of each society.
