About Me

Hey MacSci! My name is Sanjanaa and I'm thrilled to be one of the MacSphere Coordinators for this year! This is my first time on the MSS and I'm looking forward to attending all the events we have planned and meeting the students that make up our MacSci community! If you ever need to find me on campus, I'm almost always "studying" at MUSC or getting a refresher at Starbucks so definitely feel free to say hi! With MacSphere, we want to make content that represents the McMaster science community in an entertaining and relatable manner. We also plan to capture all MSS events while featuring as many MacSci students possible (so if you ever spot us filming, come make your cameo)!

Goals

1. Increase student engagement across all social media platforms and allow MacSci students to be the focus of our content
2. Expand posting MacSphere videos to Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
3. Create content that is entertaining, informative and reflective of student life at McMaster

Projects

1. Create collaborative content with MacSci profs to highlight research and academic opportunities occurring throughout the year
2. Introduce a new series called "MacSci on the Streets"
3. Film segments centred around all McMaster and MSS events (Welcome Week, Formaldehyde, Symbiosis, etc.)
