About Me

Hi everyone!

I’m Mehakpreet (Mehak), and I’m so excited to be back on the MSS for a second year after serving as a First-Year Rep. I’m really looking forward to working with all of you — especially since finance involves so much collaboration and communication.

I’m in the Actuarial and Financial Mathematics program (one of only two math students on the MSS!), proudly representing a small part of the Faculty of Science. I’m passionate about amplifying the voices of smaller programs and helping create a more connected community.

You can usually find me studying or hanging out in Thode or MUSC, my two favourite spots on campus. I can’t wait to meet everyone and make this an amazing year together!

Goals

1. Invest all additional funds into a savings account to generate passive income.

2. Help communicate financial needs better to program societies through highly informative funding applications.

3. Create a precise documentation system for all future audits and financial reviews.

Projects

1. Prepare a semester end report highlighting key financial information.

2. Create new grant opportunities for students interested in diversifying their education.

3. Execute higher quality events by eliminating unnecessary costs.
