About Me

Hi! I'm Adi and I'm super excited to be the MSS VP Finance for the 2023-2024 year. Prior to being elected as the VP Finance, I was one of the society's First Year Representatives. I'm super excited to be writing cheques, budgeting, and funding all of our expenditures this year! If you ever need to contact me, please feel free to send an email or come to my office hours. Goals

1. Ensure all finances and financial documents are organized and easily retrievable.
2. Reviewing financial policies to make sure they are aligned with the overall EDI goals of the MSS.
3. Promoting financial transparency by leveraging social media to hold the MSS and the program societies accountable.

Projects

1. Update the SOG and SIF processes and policies so they are aligned with the overall EDI goals of the MSS
2. Create quarterly financial reports and post them to the macsci.ca website.
3. Review the reimbursement process so it is easy and fool-proof.
