About Me

Since the start of my undergrad, I’ve been lucky to experience the amazing sense of community that the MSS brings to campus. From Welcome Week to the many events held during the year, I’ve always admired how MSS events bring the society together, creating lasting connections and memories. Seeing that impact firsthand inspired me to get involved and continue that tradition this year. Outside of planning events, you can usually find me camped out late in the MUSC cubicles or playing drop-in basketball at the Smith Gym. Feel free to say hi, I’m always down to chat about new ideas or ways to make MSS events even better for everyone!

Goals

1. Support the VP of Finance in keeping MSS finances organized, transparent, and efficient

2. Make financial processes clear and accessible so all portfolios can achieve their goals smoothly and equitably

3. Foster a collaborative and approachable finance environment, helping students learn about MSS funding opportunities

Projects

1. Implement a system to ensure all program societies and portfolios have fair access to funds, enabling each group to achieve their planned events and initiatives efficiently

2. Serve as a consistent facilitator between the VP of Finance and external bodies, providing timely updates, reminders, and clarification of financial policies for all stakeholders

3. Develop a process to ensure all reimbursement-related documents, such as receipts, are well-organized and easily accessible for transparency and efficiency
