About Me

Since the start of my undergrad, I’ve been lucky to experience the amazing sense of community that the MSS brings to campus. From Welcome Week to the many events held during the year, I’ve always admired how MSS events bring the society together, creating lasting connections and memories. Seeing that impact firsthand inspired me to get involved and continue that tradition this year.

Outside of planning events, you can usually find me camped out late in the MUSC cubicles or playing drop-in basketball at the Smith Gym. Feel free to say hi, I’m always down to chat about new ideas or ways to make MSS events even better for everyone!

Goals

1. Foster a sense of community within the faculty.

2. Strengthen collaborations within MSS and with other societies in event planning.

3. Enhance the visibility and impact of MSS events.

Projects

1. Plan and host SciFest, our annual carnival-style event.

2. Plan and host an event in collaboration with the Planetarium (stay tuned!).

3. Plan and host MacSci Appreciation Night, a night to honor and reflect upon the accomplishments of individuals within the MacSci community
