About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Twinkle Prajapati. I am one of the Social Media Directors. I am very excited to be apart of the MSS for the first time this year and I am so happy to be apart of a team that will help science students have a successful and fun time at McMaster. This year I am determined to use social media to reach as many science students at McMaster as possible to promote academic opportunities, events such as formaldehyde and more. MSS has so many amazing opportunities available for students and I will make sure to try to promote them to as many students possible in my role. Some fun facts about me are I love greek mythology, RNB music, and reading. Specifically, I am obsessed with the Percy Jackson series. Nothing can beat reading late night before bed and listening to music. If you see me around campus it will definitely be me with headphones on listening to music or watching tv shows, but please come and ask any questions you have or simply say hi!

Goals

1. Increase outreach and engagement of MSS social media platforms. Specifically Instagram and Tik Tok.
2. Introduce new series of stories and videos on MSS social media platforms to engage McMaster Science students in a fun interactive way.
3. Promote academic opportunities including research opportunities on social media platforms to help the careers of McMaster Science students.

Projects

1. Plan and release more interactive content with students.
2. Reach more students for the annual Formaldehyde formal.
3. Collaborate with McMaster science students for content promoting the academics as well as the enjoyable aspects of the University.
