About Me
Hi MacSci! My name is Jyot and this will be my second year on the executive team. I am so excited to continue in the year representatives, now as a second-year representative! I enjoy being part of this hardworking and fun team and I am excited to attend all the amazing events and functions that will come this year! There is only one spot where you are sure to find me: the fourth floor of Mills on a desk close to the large window. While my roots do lie on the third floor of Thode (the iSci level), I often found myself drawn to Mills as my first year ended. Now, I’m a raging Mills Library fan. I’m looking forward to this year and am ready to bring my fellow second years of MacSci their best year yet! If you have any questions or want someone to talk to, please feel free to get in touch!
Goals
1. Provide second-years with clarity about MacSci resources and increase awareness of their services, events, and support services
2. Act as a liaison between second-year MacSci students and the Faculty
Projects
1. Continue updating the MSCAF (McMaster Science Academic Forum)
2. Host an exam de-stressing event, possibly involving painting
3. Increase engagement on @macsci2026 through interactive stories and posts
