About Me
Hi MacSci! My name is Khushreet, and I’m beyond excited to be one of your Sciclone Directors for the 2025-2026 school year! This is my first year as an MSS executive, but I’ve been a Sciclone (Welcome Week Science Representative) for the past two years.
In the past, the Sciclone Team has primarily focused on Welcome Week, but this year we’re working hard to extend that energy and support throughout the entire year. I’ve seen firsthand the positive impact the team makes, and I’m passionate about building a strong, ongoing community that helps first-years feel connected and supported year-round, while further integrating the team into the MacSci community.
Overall, I’m thrilled to be part of the impactful work the MSS does, and look forward to an exciting year ahead! If you ever need me, you’ll most likely find me walking to my classes or studying in HSL, or more recently, ETB. Feel free to say hi if you see me around – I’m always happy to chat! 💚
Goals
1. Support first-year students continuously throughout the year, beyond welcome week in collaboration with the Sciclones Team and First-Year Representatives
2. Integrate the Sciclone Team into MSS events to maintain our involvement year-round
3. Promote the Sciclone Team as a reliable, ongoing resource for first-year students all year
Projects
1. Support first-year students during midterms by organizing Midterm Lovin,’ where Sciclones distribute positive notes to boost morale and spread positivity
2. Help grow connections and bonds within the Sciclones Team and MSS through team-bonding activities and active participation in MSS events
3. Review and update the Sciclones Operating Policy and streamline the team transition process for smoother handovers
