About Me
Hello everyone! My name is Saini Ithayarajah and I’m your Internal Operations Officer for this year, everyone usually shortens it to Internal Ops though (which I personally think sounds much cooler). I’m a second year student going into Honours Biology and I’m very excited about my first year on the MSS. After seeing everything the MSS accomplished last year, I cannot wait to be a part of all the amazing events and experiences this year! If you’re looking for me on campus, try the basement of PGCLL or Thode Library– if I’m in neither of those spots, it means I’ve gone to get coffee from Tim Horton’s. I cannot wait to meet and interact with you guys through MSS events and (perhaps, maybe, hopefully, fingers crossed) in the fully renovated Science Lounge.
Goals
1. Encourage closer relationships between the science faculty and MSS members through the science lounge and office hours.
2. Ensure full transparency of MSS meetings, and certify meeting minutes are made aware and available to the science faculty.
3. Working with the MSS Internal team to improve the structural fundamental and constitutional aspects of the MSS.
Projects
1. Finish the Science Lounge (!!!)
2. Host an event in the fully finished Science Lounge.
3. Reorganize and adapt office, storage and lounge spaces of the MSS to better support our goals and projects.
