About Me

Hi everyone, my name is Serene and I’m one of the Formaldehyde coordinators this year! Although this is my first time being an executive during the year for MSS, I have been repping as a Sciclone for the past two Welcome Weeks and I have grown such a love for both the people and initiatives of MSS. I am so excited to continue serving the Faculty of Science through Formaldehyde (keep your eyes peeled for posts and ticket sales)! My go-to study spot is my dining table at home, or occasionally the armchairs by the window in the atrium of HSL!

Goals

1. Target first-year student engagement to increase awareness of Formaldehyde

2. Create a diverse and inclusive space for all students to enjoy, de-stress, and celebrate (through a variety of activities)

Projects

1. Connect with local vendors and sponsors to support them through Formaldehyde

2. Feature local performers to celebrate McMaster/Hamilton talent

3. Plan and host an amazing and memorable annual Formaldehyde
