About Me

Hey everyone! I’m Sharu, and this is my first year on the MSS team as the cinematographer! I’m so excited to capture all the moments that make our Science community so special. You can usually find me at Mills “studying” or waiting in line for a matcha somewhere on campus. From filming and photography to design, I love all things creative, and I can’t wait to help make this year an unforgettable one!

Goals

1. Test new filming and editing styles to boost engagement.

2. Make MSS videos more creative, accessible, and shareable.

3. Keep high-quality standards while bringing fresh ideas and energy.

Projects

1. Film major MSS events like Welcome Week, Faculty Fest, and Formaldehyde.

2. Produce and manage SciScope episodes with new short-form formats.

3. Create themed videos (Halloween, Holiday, Year-End) that capture MacSci spirit.
