About Me

1. I've had an amazing time on the Arts Subcommittee the last two years, and this year, I'm excited to start as Arts Director.

2. I want art to be as accessible as possible for everyone - look forward to getting some free art prints and supplies!

3. Come say hi to me at HSL :)

Goals

1. To make it as easy as possible for students to participate in our events and take home bits of art with them

2. Provide a welcoming space for students to create

3. Collaborate with other clubs and subcommittees to increase the reach of our events

Projects

1. Host the first Art Print Exchange! Students can submit their art for us to turn into prints, for free. At the event, we will hand out as many of these prints as possible and have linocut print-making materials for people to create on-the-spot. The goal is to trade your creations with as many people as possible, and come home with your own little art museum!

2. De-stress art event coming soon, in partnership with the Athletics & Wellness Subcommittee

3. The Ultimate Art Show returns - lots of live music, performances, and a showcase of all the creative talent at Mac

Reasons to Contact Me

1. Anything else you want to see from the Arts Subcommittee? If you have any constructive feedback (or creative ideas for an art-based event), reach out to me anytime.

2. If you make art (of any form) and want to share it with other students, I'd love to help create an opportunity for you to do so. We can make prints of your work, display it, and art show sign-ups will also certainly be available later in the year - let me know.

3. If you want to geek out about musicals (anyone else love the original 1987 Into the Woods Broadway recording?)
